Alcohol-free perfumery replaces that carrier with a gentler base, so the fragrance sits closer to the skin and releases slowly instead of flashing off. The oils themselves are the same quality you would find in any fine perfume. What changes is how they are carried, and how they wear.
For most people it is not harmful. It is, however, drying, and on sensitive, freshly shaved or broken skin it can sting or leave a tight feeling. An attar is traditionally a highly concentrated fragrance oil, applied in very small amounts and usually dabbed rather than sprayed. Veuroma is an eau de parfum. It is alcohol-free like an attar, but lighter, sprayable and composed in a modern style, with top, heart and base notes that unfold over several hours.
Fragrance reacts to skin. Body temperature, skin type, diet and even the weather change how the notes develop. This is true of all perfume, and it is part of why the same scent feels personal to each person wearing it. It is also the best argument for trying a fragrance on your own skin before committing to a full bottle.
Our formulations are alcohol-free and paraben-free, made with IFRA-certified fragrance oils, and every fragrance has been dermatologically tested and found non-irritant. Yes. All twelve fragrances were tested individually for skin irritation to the Indian Standard BIS 4011:2018, using a 24-hour primary irritation patch test, and each was found non-irritant. The testing was carried out on human volunteers, never on animals. That sits alongside independent lab testing for skin safety and our FDA (India) approval, and it means every scent has been assessed on its own rather than the range being described as gentle in general.

On pulse points, where the skin is warmest. The inner wrists, the base of the throat, behind the ears and the inner elbows. Warmth lifts the fragrance gradually through the day.
Apply to clean, moisturised skin, as fragrance holds far better on hydrated skin than on dry skin. Do not rub your wrists together after spraying, as this breaks the top notes and shortens the life of the scent.
